Bible Studies

Bible Study Vision Statement: As a Great Commission Bible Study we will reach the unchurched, teach God’s Word, make disciples, and engage in ministry through the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

The Bible is the authority for our faith and practice. It is a written record of God's revelation of Himself on the stage of human history. The Bible proclaims the Good News, that God loves each of us, that God offers forgiveness, and that God welcomes all who come to God through faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible is the central focus of our Bible Study School Ministry. Each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m., groups of preschoolers, children, students and adults meet to study the Scriptures, to experience Christian fellowship, and explore paths of Christian service and ministry. There is a place for you in Bible Study. We invite you to join us this coming Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. We have age appropriate classes for preschoolers, children, students, and adults (including an Internationals class) -- church greeters will help you find an appropriate class if you are visiting

Wednesday Evening Service and Message:

Join us on Wednesday evenings as Dr. Gates leads a more informal Bible Study and message. Enjoy our Family Dinner starting at 5:30pm in our Fellowship Hall and then stay for Bible Study, or just show up at 6:20pm for the Bible Study. Every time you study the Bible there are new study aspects and relevant applications to living as a Christian and spreading God's Word. Once every month (typically 3rd Wednesday) we hold a church-wide business conference so please check our calendar.

Spiritual Gifts:

Are you using your spiritual gifts? Do you know what they are? Active and committed church membership includes spiritual growth and support to our church body and beliefs. Click on the highlighted link for a Spiritual Gifts List and HERE for your own copy of the Spiritual Gifts Survey.

College Age and Young Adult Bible Study:

Join our new Young Adult Bible Study class every Sunday at 9am -- learn about how God's Word is vital at this time in your life, meet other young adults, and enjoy Christian fellowship.

Sunday Evening "First Essentials" Discipleship Studies:

We offer a variety of Bible studies and activities every Sunday evening in the Spring and Fall. Our Spring session resumed on Jan 28th (5:00-6:00pm) and includes classes on (1) The Baptist Faith & Message, (2) Ten Men of the Bible, and (3) Apologetics. Not all classes last more than 6 weeks so additional classes will likely follow. See the Front Page flyer for more details and please join us!

"Through the Bible" Study:

Thursdays at 5pm in the Fellowship Hall -- join us for food, scripture reading, and informal study of God's Word.

 Friday Morning Men's Bible Study:

This Men's Bible Study group meets from 6:00am - 7:00am every Friday in Room M-103. Bible Studies vary and include scripture-based studies as well as faith-based studies. The group is currently discussing A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23, by W.Phillip Keller. Please contact Jim Hale ( if you have any questions.
